My husband and I are trying to conceive. I am having a colonoscopy next week...should we skip this month?

My husband and I are currently trying to conceive and I am currently ovulating. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy in three days, should we skip this month? I am wondering if we did end up conceiving today or tomorrow, if the anesthesia would affect the baby so early in the pregnancy (esp. since the baby would not yet be implanted at the time of the procedure). I would LOVE to hear from a doctor or anesthesiologist, if possible!
