Very frequent urination for over 2 years?

Ok so its been two years possibily more. I went to see my GP 2 years ago about very frequent urination. Let me explain I usually wake up at least 2-3 times a night to pee (urine is totally clear) and this has happened for a long time. Also if I go out with friends for a drink (alcohol or non alcohol) I have to pee every 15 minutes for the whole night! Doctor told me to train my bladder, I have tried for 2 years and its getting worse. Have had a prostate check about 16 months ago that was fine, had a gastroscopy 14 months ago found many polyps and had Nissen Fundoplication surgery about 12 month ago to fix terrible acid reflux - Still have major urination issues. Going for a colonoscopy next Friday. What is anyones opinion as this is becoming a huge problem. I also have other symptoms such as eating a LOT and always being hungry - hopefully not related.

What medicines are given before a colonoscopy?

I have to have a colonoscopy done Thursday. They said I will have conscious sedation. The paperwork says I will be given a sedative and pain meds through an IV before they start. Anyone know what sedatives & pain medicines they give you? I wonder b/c I have had 16 surgeries and a lot of pain medicines and sedatives have no affect on me. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

It is my understanding that a preventative colonoscopy costs less than a diagnostic one per insurance rules. It is my understanding that colonoscopies are recommended for those people starting at age 50. I am 58 and never had one. I have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) symptoms. Colonoscopy meds keep making me puke, HELP!?

I know this is gross but I have to have a colonoscopy tomorrow first thing in the morning but I can't keep down the stuff that cleans you bowels. Its a liquid that you're supposed to drink and to me it has no taste. It smells nasty but I put in a flavor packet that mask the smell pretty well for me. So I'm sure I'm not puking it up cause of the gross factor cause to me taste and smell are no problem. I just drink it down and everything seems fine but in like 2 mins I can't stop from throwing it all back up. Its Sunday so I can't get in touch with any of my doctors and I have no idea what to do now. This appointment tomorrow is extremely important cause I'm only 26 and I've been crapping up alot of blood and I'd really like to know why. Has anybody been through this before? What am I supposed to do if the stuff won't stay down?
