High school Diplomas ONLINE? Help?

I am from India. I dropped out a year in school and will be admitted in school next week but I was wondering if I could get a Online Diploma? The only thing is India doesn't have any such programs, so if I take an US online exam, will it be of any importance in India? Is it even possible?
