I've been scheduled for a colonoscopy. I was informed I cannot have ANY raw veggies starting 5 days before?

The reason is because raw vegetables are considered high fiber. Most doctors saw to avoid high fiber foods 3 days prior to your colonoscopy (NO nuts, seeds, whole wheat bread, beans, corn, raw vegetables or fruits with skin). Five days seems a bit overkill.
