Severe stomach/abdominal pain after miscarriage. Help please!!?

I miscarried approx a week and a half ago, I had no medical intervention and the bleeding stopped around 4 days after. Since this happened I've had severe sharp pains in my abdomen and stomach, they come and go very quickly and leave me breathless. The frequency that I have them seems to be growing as each day passes, is this normal?
