IBS and anxiety question about treatment and meds?

yes i have had a cat scan colonoscopy stool test but everything seems to be fine see ive had stomach problems for a couple months now started out throwing up and diarrhea not its really bad stomach cramps and me using the bath room alot or at least having the feeling to but i was thinking it could be anxiety problem see i some times get worried about things that arnt really that important and it causes my stomach to hurt for long periods of time b4 getting better i was just wondering if that could b it my doc says he might put me on ibs meds but will that help the anxiety do they have meds that can treat both? thanks
