Scope for telecom Engineers in India?

As I am a RF engineer working for a vendor company from last 1yr I am confused whether to continue working in telecom industry or shift to software industry as there are very few opportunities here in telecom industry and slow growth rate as compared to software industry. Do give me your suggestions......
